Vice President, Business Development
Tom Abele joined Harshaw Trane as Contracting Solutions Business Leader in 1998. Currently, Tom is the Vice President of Business Development where he oversees the Services and Energy Services businesses.
Prior to joining Harshaw Trane, he spent 18 years with Honeywell in various Operations and Sales Leadership roles with a primary focus of developing and delivering energy related solutions for building owners. Tom's commercial / industrial career began as a Factory Representative at Westinghouse with their Commercial Air Conditioning Division supporting distributors, contractors and building owners with large tonnage applications.
Tom is a graduate of Community College of Allegheny – Pittsburgh as well as the University of Southern California and the University of Saint Thomas Global Management.

Vice President, Finance
Richard Pickren joined Harshaw Trane as Vice President of Finance in February, 2007. Richard is a 21 year veteran of Trane Company and was formerly the Finance Director for the West Territory in North America. Previously, he served as VP of Finance for the Dallas Commercial Sales Office (2000-2005), Development Project Director / Executive for Office Transformation – Worldwide Applied Systems Group North America and Lab Coach Office Transformation (98-2000), Controller / Administration Manager / Lan Manager / Parts Manager in Kansas City Commercial Sales Office (1990 – 1997), Field Systems Technical Support for Realworld Software (88-90) and Controller / Lan Administrator for Salt Lake City Commercial Sales Office (85 – 88).
Richard was the first Six Sigma Green Belt in Trane's commercial offices and was recognized as Controller of the Year while in Kansas City.

Vice President and Service Leader
Lou Zaccone is Vice President of Harshaw Trane and has served in this role since July 2012. He was formerly General Manager of Trane's offices and operations in South Florida and has served in that role from 2004-2012 and assumed district manager responsibility for Trane's South Florida presence on in January 2007.
Lou has more than 30 years of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry experience having joined Trane's office in North Jersey in 1976 as a service apprentice. Since then, he has worked with Trane's office in New Jersey and in Philadelphia in increasing roles of responsibility including service engineer, supervisor, marketing and sales, as well as service manager, operations manager and vice president and general manager.
From 1988-1991, Lou served as vice president and general manager of an independent mechanical servicing contractor called Industrial Cooling Corporation where he grew the company's revenue more than 10 fold. Lou rejoined Trane in 1991 as vice president of service for the Americas, responsible for helping Trane profitably grow this important area of business.
Lou earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware where he attended on a baseball scholarship. He had a brief experience as a Major League Baseball player for the Kansas City Royals farm system playing for the Cape Fear Crocs. Lou earned a mechanical engineering certificate from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and served on the N.J. Governor's Trades Advisory Board from 1982 to 1986 validating HVAC trade school curriculum for the state.

Trane Supply Leader
Randy Cummins joined Harshaw Trane in 2006 and serves as the Trane Supply Leader. In his capacity, Randy is responsible for district-wide leadership for the Supply Business.
Before joining Harshaw Trane, Randy served as the District Manager for Trane's Residential Sales Office covering Kentucky and Southern IN. Prior to that he was with Johnson Controls National Account Healthcare Team in Nashville, TN and held multiple Sales and Training roles with Trane Residential Systems.
Randy is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he started his career with Trane Residential Systems where he was selected to Trane's Sales & Technical Educational Program (STEP). He received his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in 2006 and led a team to start a new company-owned Distribution Office in Southern Ohio.

Energy Services Leader
Ty Vierling is the Energy Services Business Leader and has served in that role since January 2012. Prior to his current role, Ty led our System & Service Sales Teams in Harshaw Trane’s Evansville Market from 2006 through 2011. Ty has more than 10 years of experience in the Energy Services business focusing on financial and energy based solutions to facility issues.
Ty began his career with Harshaw Trane in 1999 after completing Trane’s Graduate Training Program. Since then, he has worked with in the Energy Services, Systems and Service Business’s for Harshaw Trane and gained a diverse background in various facets of the business.
